Well, #2 has come and gone, and what a blast we had. We tied our first game 0-0 to the Sacramento Spring Champs, Elk Grove Everton. Losing our second game 4-1 hurt! Now realize that you lost to a U-13 Comp. team that won the entire tournament. Our third game was a bit of a mess with 4 goals coming in the second half and winning 4-3. Consider we missed 2 penalty kicks and 12 shots the first half, and the other team was lucky to come out so close! Goal came from Mon, Raymond, Christian with great defense coming from Spencer, Omar, Kyle, Oscar and Alexis. Luiza and Chaparro solidify the mid and move the ball for scoring chances. Turtle, Twiggy, Edgardinho, Colby all stepped it up in the last game. Player of the Tournament goes to the man who saved everything he could touch... Hayden. At times, he had to work way to hard, but saved the game on more than 1 occation. Great job to everyone.
!!!Oregon...Came and Went!!!
1st Tourny of the year and we placed 2nd place. Lost only to San Juan's Blue team and we were missing the Bulldog (Sean) and Speedy (Colby). Edgardinho and Mon both had 5 goals with Chris and Christian also scoring. Oregon teams were not very impressive and you boys have a long way to go. Congradulations to Eddie for Player of the Tournament although Omar gave a good run at it! Keep improving boys and you'll do great!!
